Dr. Sandra Goldsworthy, Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, and Dr. Mark Wachowiak, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics, have been named Teaching Chairs in Online and Virtual Lab/Studio Experiences. -

Nipissing alumna inspires local gift-giving
AlumniSchool of BusinessNipissing University School of Business graduate, Taylor Hummel (BBA ’19), is part of a small team that developed a successful initiative to encourage members of the North Bay community to shop locally this holiday season. Alongside her former high school classmates, Nico Waltenbury and Sierra Mercer, Hummel forged partnerships with 10 local businesses to create The Bay Bundle. -

ResearchAfter seven years of collaboration, the Northeastern Ontario Research Alliance on Human Trafficking (NORAHT) has concluded its research on the gaps and barriers to regional services for women experiencing exploitation, violence or abuse in the sex industry.
