Working through a problem or studying for a test? Drop in for support with clarifying concepts, calculations, or course material.
Use A238 as a quiet space to work on math and science assignments, with a Student Learning Coordinator nearby if you have a question.
No question is too small. Come as you are, whether you need clarification or just want reassurance you’re on the right track.
Writing Wednesdays Drop-In
Wednesdays from 9:00 am - 11:00 am (A238)
Bring any writing project, whether its essays, reports, or reflections, at any stage of the process. Get feedback on ideas, structure, and strengthening your draft.
A238 is open as a writing space, so you can focus on your work and ask for support whenever you need it.
Writing Wednesdays are about building skills and confidence, not just fixing papers. Every visit helps strengthen your writing long-term.
Academic Skills Drop-In

Struggling with time management, studying, or keeping up with coursework? Stop in to develop strategies tailored to your needs.

Academic Don Office Hours
Academic Dons are trained Peer Educators responsible for providing academic support and programs for students in the Residence environment. They are not assigned to an individual floor or residence community but are instead responsible for supporting a broad range of academic programming for all Residence complex communities.
Academic Dons are trained to help you on a one-on-one basis with general academic skills such as study strategies, note-taking skills, time management strategies, and more. Check the Academic Don Office Hours if you'd like peer-to-peer support, to ask a quick question, or to get referrals to other supports available at Nipissing University.
