Distance Students

Student Counselling Services only provides in person therapy services at the North Bay Ontario campus. All currently enrolled Nipissing University students can request an intake appointment.

North Bay and Area: Distance Learning Students that are able to attend services in person at the North Bay campus are welcome to complete the online registration form here to request an intake appointment.

Other Areas: Distance Learning Students that are unable to attend appointments in North Bay can request a telephone appointment to provide information and referrals for services that are available in your home community. Please complete the registration form here and indicate that you are unable to attend in person services in the notes section.

Good2Talk provides ​Free, confidential telephone counselling, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.​


Tru Reach: A confidential, instant-access app available free to Nipissing University students. It is an evidence-based, self-navigated series of modules designed to reduce systems of mild-moderate depression, anxiety and stress, from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework.
