  • Nipissing University is currently seeking candidates to provide note taking services to students registered with Student Accessibility Services. Note Taking support is provided to eligible students in order to provide equal access in the classroom. Note takers are responsible for providing an accurate and comprehensive typed set of notes for all assigned classroom lectures, labs, seminars and/or tutorials.

  • The Director is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the University. The areas of responsibility include: budgeting and forecasting; the year-end audit and the preparation of the annual audited financial statements; student accounts receivable, billings and financial aid; trust and endowment accounting and reporting; cash management; investments and reporting; internal controls; fixed asset accounting and financing of capital expenditures; accounts payable; risk management and insurance, and shipping and receiving.

  • As an Indigenous Intern, you will participate in on-going training and mentorship opportunities, as well as facilitate a variety of workshop and day camp activities. Through these hands on experiences, you will be supported in gaining valuable skills in developing and delivering STEAM workshops and activities for Indigenous children and youth, ages of 4-16.

  • The role of the Peer Tutor is to support the academic development of the student being tutored (Tutee) by assisting in the understanding of concepts in a specific course. Sessions will take place on campus during predetermined times where both Peer Tutor and Tutee are available. Peer Tutors provide expertise, experience, and encouragement. Peer Tutors do not provide “answers” but rather assist in the learning process.

  • Student Accessibility Services supports students with disabilities and assists with the organization of various accommodations including testing accommodations.  Successful candidates will work closely with Student Accessibility Services staff and Lead Proctors ensuring the security and integrity of the examination process and assisting with test/exam invigilation.
