Nipissing University appoints Dr. Kevin Wamsley as new President and Vice-Chancellor
GeneralAfter a nearly year-long search, Nipissing University has appointed Dr. Kevin Wamsley as its seventh President and Vice-Chancellor. A distinguished scholar and administrator, Dr. Wamsley is currently the Academic Vice-President & Provost of St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He will begin his five-year term at Nipissing on August 1, 2021.
Nipissing appoints Renée Hacquard as new Vice-President, Finance and Administration
Nipissing University is pleased to announce the appointment of Renée Hacquard as Vice-President, Finance and Administration, effective July 1, 2024. Hacquard will succeed outgoing Vice-President, Cheryl Sutton, who will be retiring at the end of June following a 14-year tenure with the University.
