FASS and Print Plus earn accolades at CUPMAC conference

Print Plus staff were recognized with a Distinctive Service Award for their ability to work together to install a new heavy duty extra long hardboard folding assembly and reorganize the production workspace to improve efficiency.

Heather Hersemeyer, Director of University Technology Services, was also honoured with a Hall of Fame award for her leadership and years of service to both Nipissing and CUPMAC.

In the production category, Nipissing was recognized with a Digital Black & White Award for an ornament that was designed and printed in black in white, as well as a Digital Colour Award for a wide format, canvas wrapped print.

“I’m really proud of FASS and Print Plus for being recognized at a national level,” said Hersemeyer. “The awards really are a testament to the pride they have in their work.”

CUPMAC is Canada’s professional print association for in-plant printing facilities within colleges and universities across Canada.
