Dr. Pitt provides indigenous perspective

Congratulations to Dr. Jonathan Pitt, part-time instructor in the Schulich School of Education's Aboriginal Education Programs and former assistant professor of Education, who recently lent his expertise on the Indigenous perspective of Sasquatch for an article in the North Bay Nugget.
The article, Sasquatch: Believe It or Not, by Bill Steer aka Backroads Bill, appeared in the Thursday, April 26, edition of the North Bay Nugget Extra.

Dr. Pitt discusses how in oral history the Sabe (Sasquatch) is viewed as a protector and a peaceful creature in some communities.  He also says he would avoid making eye contact if he ever saw one.
