Introducing Nipissing’s Student Technological Assistants

Nipissing recently completed orientation sessions for the iTeach laptop learning program in both the consecutive and concurrent education programs. During orientation, 56 interviews were conducted, resulting in 22 Student Technological Assistants hired to help support faculty and students in Consecutive and Concurrent Education programs.Student Technological Assistants are student employees of the Centre for Flexible Teaching and Learning who are focused on support services within the iTeach Laptop Learning Program. Students in these positions will offer technological peer assistance throughout the Bachelor of Education program.
This year, each Student Technological Assistant was assigned a "Special Tech Task" on which to become an expert.
Resources will be created and posted on the iTeach Support Site resulting in a bank of current tips and tricks for students and faculty to utilize and explore.
