Thank you for submitting your application to become a Peer Note Taker. You will receive an email confirmation shortly containing a copy of the information you submitted.

For NEW Peer Note Takers

Once we have verified all 3 requirements below, you will receive an email welcoming you to the team.

  • Pass the minimum overall average verification of 70%. (Exclusion: Does not apply to 1st year students, who do not have an overall average)
  • Self-Enroll into our Blackboard course to complete the brief training. Complete the Note Taker Training Quiz, and obtain 100% within 3 attempts.
  • Sign and submit the code of ethics/confidentiality form. This form is found within the training course in Blackboard.

To enroll into the Blackboard course (SAS - Student Accessibility Services):

  1. Sign-in to Blackboard using your student credentials
  2. Using the search bar, search 'Student Accessibility Services'.
  3. Hover your mouse over the option with the Course ID listed as 'SAS' only.
  4. Click on the downwards facing arrow, and select 'enroll'.
  5. Click 'Submit' to proceed.
  6. Click 'OK' to continue.

For RETURNING Peer Note Takers

Once we have verified your current overall average, and you meet the minimum requirement (70%), your email address will remain within our current Peer Note Taker roster.

We will contact you should any opportunities come available for one of your courses.
