Nipissing University is advancing its commitment to innovative learning through a bold new initiative focused on experiential and work-integrated learning (EL/WIL). Sparked by the institution’s 2023–28 Strategic Plan and outlined in Action Item 10 of the Academic and Operational Plan (APOP), an ad hoc EL/WIL committee has been hard at work exploring how best to expand meaningful opportunities that connect students with real-world experiences, and the momentum is building.
