Job Description: 

Community Support Workers act as the initial link to CTRC in the intake and case management capacity, by representing the needs of individual(s) requesting particular services and by completing intake and acting upon the decisions of the Professional Resource Team regarding service delivery and assisting individuals and families to access other community supports and government services.

Required Qualifications: 

A Social Service Worker Diploma, Social Worker Degree or proof of registration with Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or a Diploma from the Addiction and Mental Health Worker Program, will be considered as meeting the education requirement.

Must possess a good understanding of Social Work Code of Ethics and Principals and adherence to Ministry and CTRC Policies and Procedures. Proven ability to work in a diversified environment. Must demonstrate conceptual knowledge and self-management ability. Two years’ experience in human service field and preferably some experience with various software programs. A valid G2 driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required. Fluent in English and French is an asset.
