Term: Full-time, 52 weeks (35 hours per week)
Compensation: Salaried at 55,745$ annually (Benefits after 3 months of continuous employment)
About the Position
Yes Employment Services (Nipissing) is seeking a motivated and resourceful Workshop Facilitator and Job Coach Intern to support the delivery of employment readiness programming in schools, community settings, and workplaces. This developmental internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in workshop facilitation, career coaching, and employer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support employment readiness workshops in schools and community settings, engaging participants through inclusive, interactive learning.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support to clients, collaborating with employers to address challenges and promote successful job retention.
- Adapt and develop workshop materials and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, activities, and outcomes in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance facilitation and coaching skills.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate from a post-secondary program in social services, education, psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in working with youth, job seekers, and diverse client groups.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, creative, and adaptable in problem-solving and coaching approaches.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation may be required.
