Hi All,
We are both Algonquin Provincial Parks newest and most established Canoe Outfitters.
This is a unique opportunity to work and play in Algonquin Provincial Park while living on site with free accommodations.
Our positions include Canoe Outfitters and Canoe Guides that can assist with providing rental customers with their rental canoes and rental equipment. Both positions can be physically demanding and extremely satisfying.
Responsibilities (Outfitters):
- Providing rental canoe deliveries to developed campgrounds and backcountry access points.
- Process rental transactions accurately through cash handling and point-of-sales system
- Maintain and clean main store areas.
Responsibilities (Canoe Guide):
- Lead daily guided canoe tour operations.
- Assist and educate customers in paddling demonstrations.
- High character individuals that have an attentiveness and sense of empathy for customer care.
We are looking for outdoor enthusiast with an affinity for backcountry camping and canoeing. The love for all things Algonquin Park is a definite asset.
Certifications:
- Drivers permit is required for Outfitting position.
- First Aid training is required for Canoe Guide position.
- Paddling certification through ORCKA or Paddle Canada is highly desirable for Canoe Guide position.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: Full-Time (no less than 40 per week)
