We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Camp Staff for the upcoming fishing season.

Job Description:

Expected Work Shift:

  • Rotating Schedule, workdays include holidays and weekends. Duties and shift times may vary based on individual skills. (AM/AFT/PM)

As a Housekeeping/Server at Old Post Lodge, you will be an essential part of creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for our guests amidst the pristine wilderness.
Your responsibilities will include:

Housekeeping Duties:

  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of guest cabins, common areas, and lodge facilities.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting in line with lodge standards.
  • Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
  • Contribute to lodge aesthetics by participating in gardening activities, such as planting, weeding, and maintaining outdoor spaces.

Server Duties:

  • Assist in the setup and service of meals in the lodge dining area.
  • Serve food, and provide excellent customer service to lodge guests.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless meal service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dinning area, following lodge hygiene standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, and/or serving is preferred.
  • Possess or ability to obtain a valid G drivers’ licence
  • Possess or ability to obtain a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card
  • Possess or ability to obtain a valid Outdoors Card with a sport fishing licence.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote setting and adapt to the challenges of lodge life.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a seasonal, remote environment.

Desired Skills:

Experience:

  • serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Drivers Licence (preferred)
  • Smart Serve (preferred)
