Convocation represents the highlight of the academic year as students move into the next chapter of their lives and their ongoing quest for learning.

The university honoured seven outstanding individuals with honorary degrees during convocation: Dr. Charles Pascal, Alton Bigwin, Grand Chief Stan Beardy, Suzanne Brooks, David Liddle, Dr. Mark Tremblay and Sister Priscilla Solomon.

Convocation has concluded for another year at Nipissing University. Wrapping up yesterday in Brantford, with some 200 graduates from the collaborative concurrent Bachelor of Education Program crossing the stage at the Sanderson Centre to receive their degrees, convocation offered much to celebrate.
