    This Saturday, the Nipissing University Black Association for Student Expression (NUBASE) in partnership with Lakers Basketball will host the 2nd Annual With1VoiceNight: Shoot for Change Game at the R.J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre against 705 rivals, the Laurentian Voyageurs. Created by NUBASE Co-Founder and President, Taijon Eccleston-Graham, Shoot for Change raises funds for BIPOC student bursaries at Nipissing University and offers student-athletes a platform to advocate for marginalized communities.

  • Nursing prof recognized with Pat Griffin Research Grant

    The Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) has announced that Dr. Sandra Goldsworthy, professor in Nipissing University’s School of Nursing, is one of the recipients of the Pat Griffin Research Grants and $15,000 in funding. The Pat Griffin Research Grant supports research with a priority of “Nursing Education Outcomes” from the National Research Priorities for Nursing.
