Approximately 100 Bachelor of Physical and Health Education (BPHE) students are benefitting from hands-on work experience through the Community Leadership Placement program. Over 35 internal and external community partners support the students by providing them with a minimum of 50 hours of mentorship and work involvement in areas that support students’ academic and professional goals.

In celebration of its centennial anniversary, the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) recently granted a $1,000 scholarship to Nipissing University PhD student, Melissa Corrente.

The University was shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Jaidyn Phillis on December 17, 2019 in Parry Sound, Ontario as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Jaidyn was a second year student in the Bachelor of Social Work program on the North Bay campus.
