Nipissing students consistently impress as leaders, in the classroom, on campus and in the community.  Recently the university celebrated 25 student leaders at the annual Dave Marshall Leadership Awards.  Over the coming months, NU News will introduce each student leader to the wider community with a short article discussing their accomplishments and activities. Today, we are pleased to profile Jessica McCutcheon, who is working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Nipissing University’s Pride on Campus extends an invitation for everyone to enjoy Pride Week, November 21 – 24.

For many future students, Nipissing’s recruitment team will shape the key first impression made of the University. They have one of the most important jobs at the university: boots on the ground, travelling the province working in high schools, colleges and universities to inform potential students about all that Nipissing has to offer and why it is such an amazing place to work, study, learn in and grow.

A new scholarship will be available starting in 2020 for upper year students majoring in Classical Studies at Nipissing thanks to a generous donation by a faculty member’s estate.

Recently a group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous allied scholars, mentored graduate students, Elder-in-Residence, and community partners met in circle at Nipissing University to share knowledge, advice, and best practices for working with Indigenous communities in a good way.
