Nipissing University is hosting a training session for staff and faculty that will provide tools for communicating with students who have Asperger Syndrome.

Nipissing University is very pleased to report that total student enrolment is up with 5,679 part-time and full-time students set to start the fall 2011-12 semester next week. While there has been little change in first-year full-time enrolment, overall enrolment has grown due to a 26% increase in enrolment for part-time studies and new programming in the fields of science, mathematics, technology and commerce.

Get ready to discover your inner Laker maniac later this month during Nipissing’s annual Homecoming weekend. It’s a weekend like no other. It allows students, staff, faculty, friends and alumni to show their school spirit and have fun doing it.

Homecoming Weekend is a time to celebrate Nipissing University and the many achievements of our graduates as we welcome them back to their alma mater. This year, for the first time ever during Homecoming, Nipissing will recognize 30 graduates at a special awards reception on September 30, in the Harris Learning Library.

Leading up to the 2011 provincial election, Nipissing University wants to ensure that issues important to our students and our community will be addressed by the political candidates.
