POSITION TITLE:                             Student Proctor

HOURS OF WORK:                         3-20 hours per week

RATE OF PAY:                                    $17.60 per hour + Vacation as determined by HR policy

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The student proctor will assist with the administration of various exams and tests whether it be paper based or online. Successful candidates will work closely with the exam coordinator to hold the integrity of the NU Exams as well as external examination and assessments.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

This position will assist with the following duties:

  • Proctor scheduled exams or tests (NU Exams or external clients)
  • Support professors during exams or tests
  • Help with setup of NU exams
  • Report any forms of cheating or irregularities
  • Make the exam regulation announcement
  • Assist examination coordinator with any other duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One full year of university experience with a minimum 70% overall average
  • Punctuality, dependability, and professionalism
  • Willingness to work in a discreet and confidential manner
  • Ability to work with others
  • Strong oral communication
  • Flexibility in accommodating shift changes
