    Basic page
    Our peer tutoring program is a course-specific service providing support in course material at your convenience. Every peer tutor has been through a rigorous approval process, which includes an application, verification that they have achieved a 75% or higher in the courses they would like to tutor, as well as a multi-step training process. If we don’t have a tutor for a course, we will do our best to recruit.

  • Ancillary Fee FAQs & Descriptions

    Per the Ontario Government’s Tuition Fee Framework and Ancillary Fee Guidelines for Publicly Assisted Universities, the Government has now created a distinction between essential and non-essential fees and services and the related ancillary fees for those services.
    ​​​​​​​Fees that the Government has defined as essential are now mandatory for all students enrolled at Nipissing, regardless of program/campus.
    Fees that the Government has now defined as non-essential, students are able to opt out of.
