ArticleNipissing University is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindsay Sullivan as Interim Assistant Vice-President (AVP), Students. Sullivan will serve in the role for the next seven months while current AVP, Students, Sarah Taylor, is on parental leave. Sullivan joined Nipissing earlier this year as the University’s Access and Inclusion Student Experience Coordinator. -

Ann Patricia Graham Memorial Award
Scholarships, Bursaries & AwardsAward Value$2,325.00Presented annually to a graduating female student in the full-time Bachelor of Education program who, while a student at Nipissing University, demonstrated superior leadership abilities. The recipient is selected by the Schulich School of Education. -
Alan and Joyce Johnson Scholarship
Scholarships, Bursaries & AwardsAward Value$3,125.00Established to honour Alan (1925-1994), the first Dean of the Faculty of Education, and his wife Joyce (1925-2009), an ardent supporter of the local arts community. Two scholarships are presented to Indigenous students graduating from either the Bachelor of Education program, the Indigenous Teacher Education Program (ITEP), the Indigenous Classroom Assistant Diploma Program (ICADP), or the Teacher of Indigenous Language as a Second Language (TILSL). Recipients must intend to go on to teach in an Indigenous community, be in strong academic standing, and demonstrate financial need.
