National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women
EventLocationNipissing University CampusStartDateEndDateIn memory of the lives lost at École Polytechnique, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women - commonly known as White Ribbon Day - will be observed with a series of events to honour victims and promote awareness of gender-based violence. Participants are encouraged to light luminaries in their offices on December 6 as a visible sign of solidarity with victims and survivors of gender-based violence.
Consent Belongs Here will be distributing luminaries and white ribbons in the NU Hallway on December 3 and 4 (11 AM - 1 PM) and again on December 6th, 9-12 PM.
