Nipissing University’s latest educational innovation, the Scholar Practitioner Program (SPP), launched on Tuesday morning, September 6, 2011, in downtown Toronto, ready to revolutionize Nursing education in Ontario.

Chante Ellis, a nursing student in Nipissing’s Scholar Practitioner Program, has earned a prestigious 2018 Sopman Humanitarian Award from the University Health Network.

The Nipissing University/Canadore College collaborative Nursing program broke new ground for students, becoming the first Canadian Bachelor of Science in Nursing program to host a specialized Elsevier review to prepare students for a newly mandated examination.
