Nipissing University is launching an outreach campaign to help connect students with supports and resources via an interactive voice response system starting this week.

Next week marks Indigenous Week at Nipissing University and the Office of Indigenous Initiatives has a fantastic slate of events lined up to mark the important occasion.

As mid-term exams and assignments approach, Nipissing’s Office of Student Development and Services is pleased to offer opportunities for faculty and staff to get involved effectively and assist with mental health support.

Nipissing Muskoka’s Social Justice Club is hosting a volunteer mixer on January 27, from 7 - 9 p.m., for students, members of the community and students from area schools including Georgian College. The goal of this event is to bring local community organizations together with individuals looking for volunteer opportunities in the Muskoka area.

Dr. Anne Wagner, chair of the school of human and social development at Nipissing’s Muskoka Campus, is hosting a new talk radio show called Transitions on Hunters Bay Radio, 88.7 FM or www.muskokaonline.com.
