Clayton James "Jimmy" O'Rourke Memorial Bursary
Established by family and friends in memory of Jimmy O'Rourke, an enthusiastic, spirited and dedicated leader who was involved in all facets of the university and who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. It is presented annually to a full-time or part-time Nipissing University student on the basis of financial need. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Rotary Club of Nipissing Award
Awarded to a full-time Nipissing University student in his/her second, third or fourth year (BEd included). The recipient must have maintained a minimum overall average of 80%, as well as exemplify the Rotarian goal of "Service above Self" in the community. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Class of 2004 Bursary
Established by the graduating class of 2004, it is presented annually on the basis of financial need. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Dr. Herbert Bruce Chapter IODE Presidents' Bursary
Established to honour past, present and future Presidents of the Dr. Herbert A. Bruce Chapter IODE, and is presented on the basis of financial need to a full-time student. The recipient must also be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Murray Green Award
Established upon the retirement of Murray Green in honour of his dedication and commitment to Nipissing University during his 16 years of service. It is presented annually to a full-time or part-time student who: 1) actively volunteers in community projects and/or 2) is involved in varsity or intramural athletics at Nipissing University and 3) maintains a solid academic record (minimum 75%). Preference is given to students who promote community volunteerism. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Ivan A. and Joy Clysdale Memorial Achievement Award
Presented annually to two full-time undergraduate students (not including Consecutive Education students) who demonstrate hard work and enthusiasm in their classroom. Recipients are selected by the Undergraduate Services and Awards Committee based on nominations collected from the Nipissing University community and must demonstrate financial need and be residents of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Class of 2002 Bursary
Established by the graduating class of 2002, this bursary is presented annually, on the basis of financial need, to a full-time Nipissing University student.

International Student Bursary
Awarded to international students studying full-time in a undergraduate degree program at Nipissing University in at least their second year of study who demonstrate financial need.

Coleen Joanne Whitford Memorial Bursary
Awarded on the basis of financial need. The recipient must be a resident of Ontario as defined by OSAP.

Emergency Assistance
Available to assist with the costs of unexpected expenses that could not be anticipated in a student's budget. Contact the Student Awards & Financial Aid office for an application. Funding is generally only provided for unexpected circumstances that couldn't have been budgeted for.
