Congratulations to Nipissing alumna Laura Stemp (BEd’ 17), on earning the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers in recognition of her significant contributions to her communities.

Cangiano has presented research at both national and international academic conferences, including the 2017 Undergraduate Research Conference, the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, and the Canadian Anthropology Society Conference, and has recently had an abstract of her thesis accepted to be presented at the Society for Applied Anthropology/Canadian Anthropology Society, an international conference to be held in Cuba this spring.
