Congratulations to a trio of faculty members in Nipissing’s Schulich School of Education who have teamed up to edit a new book, Exploring the Toxicity of Lateral Violence and Microaggressions: Poison in the Water Cooler.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is an annual competition for masters and doctoral students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in three minutes.  Developed by the University of Queensland in 2008 to promote effective communication of research, over 170 universities from more than 18 countries will compete this year.

Near North Voices – North Bay’s University-Community Choir, has a busy few weeks ahead of them. With choristers returning this week from a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the choir will sing live on CBC’s Morning North on Friday, March 23, as they broadcast from the North Bay YMCA as part of the CBC’s 40th anniversary.
