Cheryl Sutton, the University’s former Vice-President, Finance and Administration, took over the leadership position on July 1, succeeding Dr. Mike DeGagné who served in the role since 2013. -
Nipissing Mourns Loss of Student in Tragic Accident
GeneralThe University was shocked and saddened to learn of the tragic passing of Jaidyn Phillis on December 17, 2019 in Parry Sound, Ontario as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Jaidyn was a second year student in the Bachelor of Social Work program on the North Bay campus. -
Remembrance Day Observance
GeneralNipissing University wishes to remember the contributions of our veterans who have served in war and peace-keeping duties over the years. On November 11, representatives from the University will be attending the municipal ceremony at Memorial Gardens. On campus, as an expression of observance, we will be holding a ceremony at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, November 11th in the Nipissing Theatre (F213). We encourage everyone to attend a local Remembrance Day service.
