Nipissing community shows support for Orange Shirt Day

Nipissing University staff, faculty and students donned their orange shirts on September 30 to honour and commemorate the survivors of Canada's residential school system and their families.

The goal of Orange Shirt Day is to raise awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools and to promote the concept of “Every Child Matters”.
