Nipissing University researchers, working in collaboration with students, faculty members, lab technicians, and medical doctors from Simon Fraser University, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and the University of Massachusetts-Boston have seen their work published in Psychological Science, one of the most prestigious journals in the field of psychology.

Carly has demonstrated her campus leadership through her involvement with a variety of the Office of Indigenous Initiatives’ programs and events. She has volunteered to be a Peer2Peer Mentor for three years, which involves being available to students for help with school work, advice, or even just a chat to relieve stress.

Riley has demonstrated community leadership through his extensive involvement within the community throughout his degree. He has been on the board of directors for both the Friends of Laurier Woods and Nipissing Naturalists.
