The fourth annual Boston Pizza Charity Golf Tournament in support of Lakers Hockey takes place on July 12 at Osprey Links Golf Course with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m.

Ben Barak, BFA’12, who is exhibiting his work at the famed McMichael Canadian Art Collection, in Kleinburg, Ontario.Barak is featured in the Art Mentorship Project Community Exhibition, running until March 2, 2014. He is exhibiting with David McEown.

In recognition of his commitment to geographic education, Nipissing almnus Joe Grabowski (BEd’10), a science and math teacher in Guelph, has been selected as one of the 2016 Lindblad Expeditions and National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellows.

Recently, Nipissing’s Schulich School of Education held a special convocation ceremony for the graduates of the Native Classroom Assistant Diploma Program, delivered in partnership with Bimose Tribal Council in Kenora, Ontario.
