Donovan is a confident and collaborative leader in the Psychology lab, in student activities, and in the classroom. Through his enthusiasm, competence, and guidance, Donovan motivates and aids other lab members in their research pursuits.

Ekomiak, studying Biology with minors in Native Studies and Gender Equality and Social Justice, earned the award for her submission depicting negative stereotypes faced by Indigenous peoples as well as the positive and hopeful campfire of inclusivity.
