This past Saturday, the Tour de Nipissing OUA Nordic Skiing Championships in downtown North Bay featured three ambitious art installations courtesy Nipissing’s Fine and Performing Arts department.

Nipissing University is pleased to host The Affects of Site, an exciting conference bringing together an international group of artists, curators, and academics to discuss site-specific art, February 14 – 16 at Nipissing’s Monastery Hall and Inn on the Bay.

Ben Barak, BFA’12, who is exhibiting his work at the famed McMichael Canadian Art Collection, in Kleinburg, Ontario.Barak is featured in the Art Mentorship Project Community Exhibition, running until March 2, 2014. He is exhibiting with David McEown.

Nipissing’s department of Fine and Performing Arts is hosting a Faculty Work-In-Progress Seminar featuring professor Laura Peturson on Thursday, March 14 at 1 p.m. in the Monastery.
