With the weather cold enough to freeze a cowbell, the 2015 OUA Nordic Skiing Championships kicked off on Friday night in North Bay. While the weather could have been warmer, the action was certainly hot, and the Lakers perfectly mixed being gracious hosts with being tough competitors.

The Nipissing Men's Laker hockey team continued the tradition of making a donation to the student food bank again this year.In partnership with Mike and Laurie Sheehan from No Frills McKeon the Lakers donated over 600 pounds of food to our student food bank. Through small fund raising efforts the players are happy to be able to help their fellow students out.
