Sexual Violence Support & Reporting Pathways
The Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Team is excited to announce an upcoming professional development (PD) opportunity available to all staff and faculty. Every staff member plays a vital role in creating a safe and supportive campus environment. This session will equip you with the knowledge of how to respond effectively when a student discloses an experience of sexual violence.
Every member of our campus community plays a crucial role in fostering a safe, compassionate, and responsive environment. This session will empower you with the tools and knowledge to respond with empathy and professionalism when a student shares their story.
Whether you work in frontline services, residence life, academic advising, or administration, you’ll gain practical skills and insights to better support students and contribute to a culture of care.
We’re also pleased to welcome our partners from REES (Respect, Educate, Empower Survivors), who will provide an overview of our online reporting platform, designed to help students document their experiences and choose the path that’s right for them.
We strongly encourage all staff and faculty to attend and take part in building a safer, more supportive campus for everyone.
