Interested in participating on the Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board?
The Alumni Advisory Board meets five times per year; as well as, for a Fall planning retreat. Terms are for two years and may be renewed twice for a maximum of six years.
Candidates outside the North Bay geographic area are also eligible to claim a reasonable amount of travel expenses as per the Long-Distance Travel policy of the Advisory Board.
Who can become involved?
The Nipissing University Alumni Advisory Board is open to all alumni of the Nipissing family; as well as, community members. This means graduates of:
- Nipissing University
- Nipissing University College
- North Bay Teachers College
- North Bay Normal School
- North Bay Model School
Why become involved?
The Board provides an opportunity to “give something back” to your alma mater. Involvement provides you with a chance to meet fellow alumni, create friendships, network, and further your professional and personal skills. Participation means you become part of a winning team, and are associated with likeminded individuals who wish to have fun while contributing to the betterment of the University.
