Sapna Sharma is an accomplished educator, curriculum specialist, and instructional designer with over 25 years of combined academic and industry experience. Sapna brings a rare blend of pedagogical expertise, leadership, and deep commitment to student and faculty development.
She has taught at multiple Ontario colleges, including Conestoga, Sheridan, Georgian, and Canadore, where she has designed and delivered courses in business, economics, office administration, and strategic global management. Her work consistently reflects evidence-based teaching, inclusive pedagogy, and a strong understanding of adult learning principles.
Sapna is currently completing her Master of Education at Wilfrid Laurier University. She holds an MBA, a Master’s in economics, a Bachelor's in Education, and multiple micro-credentials in instructional design, inclusive teaching, and curriculum integration. She is also an Ontario Extend Empowered Educator, recognized for her innovative use of educational technologies and her commitment to open and collaborative learning.
Beyond the classroom, Sapna is an active mentor with ACCES Employment and a frequent host and contributor to professional development workshops, such as on Student Engagement. Gen AI, intercultural competence, and inclusive teaching practices. Her work is grounded in a passion for empowering learners and supporting educators in creating meaningful, engaging, and equitable learning experiences.
