Nipissing University once again is welcoming a group of students from our partner University, Tec de Monterrey, located in Tampico, Mexico.

The School of Nursing at Nipissing University is pleased to announce the launch of a flexible distance education bridging program for Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to upgrade their education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).

Nipissing University is reporting exceptional application results as the first round of numbers from the Ontario Universities Application Centre were released near the end of January. Citing a number of statistics, Nipissing University officials were enthusiastic about the numbers.

Nipissing University is pleased to announce its participation in an international research partnership with University College London (England) and Bangor University (Wales), as well as a local community partnership with the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & Districts. The partnership is funded by a grant of over $6,000,000 from the Economic and Social Research Council, and the National Institute for Health Research, both based in the United Kingdom, with Nipissing University receiving over $600,000 of the total grant funding.

Nipissing University is pleased to announce the launch of its five-year strategic research plan, a document which will provide a framework to inform decision making and communicate research success. The launch of the plan also marks the start of the first annual research month at Nipissing University, which features a series of events throughout March designed to share with the community the impact of research at the local, national, and international levels.
