Nipissing University's Schulich School of Education invites graduating students and alumni to explore a variety of career opportunities at the Annual Education Career Fair on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Robert J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre Gymnasium (Gyms B and C).

North Bay, Ont. - Nipissing University celebrated the research contributions of seven of its faculty members who received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) last year during a Research Showcase held on January 22. The event highlighted eight different research studies that collectively earned $837,535 in funding in 2019

Anyone wishing to qualify as a Wetland Evaluator in Ontario must take the Ontario Wetland Certificate Course (OWES) which is only available through Nipissing University. For years, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) had been holding their week-long OWES sessions in North Bay, owing to the tremendous quality and diversity of wetlands in the area.
