Nipissing University welcomes Dr. Brett Buchanan, director of the School of Environment and associate professor of Philosophy at Laurentian University, to campus for a Master of Environmental Studies/Master of Environmental Sciences seminar on Thursday, December 8, at 7 p.m. in the Small Cafeteria.

Students, staff and faculty at Nipissing University have been celebrating Movember by getting hairy and raising money to help men’s health. The total amount raised was $3,692.85. All proceeds will go to the Movember Foundation Canada.

Congratulations to Dr. Louise Ells, secretary for the school of graduate studies, on being awarded a Hawthornden Writing Fellowship.  Dr. Ells will spend a month writing in a castle in Scotland beginning in January.
