My NipissingConvocationFaculty/Staff AwardA trio of amazing professors have earned teaching awards from Nipissing University. Dr. Terry Campbell, professor in the Schulich School of Education, and Dr. Carly Dokis, assistant professor of Anthropology, each earned the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Jesse Davis, instructor in the School of Business, earned the Nipissing University Teaching Award for CASBU Members. -
Meet student leader Sydney Lamorea
Dave Marshall Leadership AwardMy NipissingLamorea has been a strong student voice standing up for the well-being of her peers in various capacities. She passionately speaks at senate meetings and on the Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU) Executive. She is also a strong contributor in Andrew Weeks’ neuroscience lab. Elected as NUSU President for 2017-18, she will continue to serve students and Nipissing University. -

The recipient of the 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research is involved in many interdisciplinary, multi-institution collaborative research projects, as a team lead and co-researcher, both within, and external to, Nipissing University. -
Young mathematicians earn awards
Math and Computer ScienceNipissing University hosted an awards ceremony on June 6 for local students in grade 2 – 8 who achieved high grades in the 2017 Canadian Math Kangaroo Contest. -
NU popularity increasing
My NipissingThe number of students planning to attend Nipissing University in September has increased by 7.6 percent compared to last June, well above the provincial increase of 1 percent, according to data released by the Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC).
