Amanda Burk, associate professor, in the department of fine and performing arts is exhibiting her work in an ambitious art exhibition, titled The Perspective From Here: 150 Artists From the North, marking Canada’s sesquicentennial at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery.

Dr. Mark Wachowiak, associate professor in computer science and mathematics, is the kind of person who is always ready to lend a hand, especially if it involves interdisciplinary computational science. The recipient of the 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Research is involved in many interdisciplinary, multi-institution collaborative research projects, as a team lead and co-researcher, both within, and external to, Nipissing University.

A trio of amazing professors have earned teaching awards from Nipissing University. Dr. Terry Campbell, professor in the Schulich School of Education, and Dr. Carly Dokis, assistant professor of Anthropology, each earned the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Jesse Davis, instructor in the School of Business, earned the Nipissing University Teaching Award for CASBU Members.
