Nipissing Nordic skiers capped off three consecutive weekends of out of town races with a three-day set of races at the Eastern Canadian Championships in Cantley, Quebec.

Last weekend’s NorAm cross-country ski races gathered together Ontario’s varsity ski teams at Highland Nordic in Duntroon, with racers from across the country seeking to qualify for the World Championships. Nipissing Nordic skiers made progress at the races and came close to cracking the top ten on the OUA men’s and women’s sides.

North Bay’s WKP Kennedy Gallery will be exhibiting the works of Nipissing University’s Dr. Paul Kelly February 16 – March 14, 2013; with the opening reception on Saturday, February 16, from 1 – 4 p.m. The show is titled Paul Kelly: Echoes of the Past, Design Art.
