Nipissing University’s Department of Sociology is pleased to announce two upcoming public talks.On November 21, Maurice Switzer, director of communications for the Union of Ontario Indians, will speak in room H306 from 10 – 11:30 a.m.

ENACTUS Nipissing University (formerly known as SIFE) is partnering with the Children's Aid Society of Nipissing-Parry Sound for Project Warmth, and is partnering again with POOK Canada, with a focus this year on socks, slippers, and dukes (mittens).

Spencer West, the man who recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro after having both his legs amputated at age five, is giving an inspirational talk at Brantford’s Sanderson Centre (88 Dalhousie Street) on November 29, from 1:30 – 3 p.m. The presentation is part of Nipissing University’s celebrations for a decade of education in Brantford.
