NUSU presents Cold Creek Country

The Nipissing University Student Union is proud to present Cold Creek County and Rob Watts Band live at the Capitol Center on Thursday, March 8.An up-and-coming country rock group from Brighton, Ontario, Cold Creek County headlines the show with hit songs such as Our Town, Homemade, and This Town is You. The band is looking to continue their momentum after playing the Boots and Hearts festival, and is on tour with Old Dominion before coming to North Bay. They have won the Country Music Association of Ontario’s Group of the Year award in back-to-back years, and received a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2017.
The Rob Watts Band will open the show. They pride themselves on offering a high energy, crowd-involved, live performance, putting their own spin on what is now considered modern country music by highlighting some of the key elemental instruments used in classic country, while keeping the tempo up, and the songs catchy and fun. The group has already played over 80 shows since forming in 2015.
