Grad turning entrepreneurship course into business

Nipissing graduate Jaret Smith has taken his course work to the next level, launching a sportswear brand from the kernel of an idea first formulated in an Introduction to Entrepreneurship course he enrolled in at NU.

Smith, who graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2018 and played varsity men’s hockey for the Lakers for two years , was recently profiled in the Red Deer Express, a news source from his hometown.

The article discusses how Smith is looking to use his brand, Unparalleled Sports Wear to reduce the stigma of mental health and support the Canadian Mental Health Association.
