Dr. Kozuskanich writing on guns in Canada and US

A new article by Nipissing’s Dr. Nathan Kozuskanich, associate professor of History, has just been published in the latest issue of Origins.

The article is titled Good Guys and Bad Guys with Guns: Gun Control in Canada and the U.S.

Here is the Editor's note about the article:

Two nations, one very long shared border, a common language, a similar colonial history, and a shared set of values. And yet the United States and Canada regulate gun ownership and respond to gun violence in fundamentally different ways. This month historian Nathan Kozuskanich explores why Canada and the United States have developed such different gun cultures.
