Motion Capture System Figure
In our work, whole-body motion is tracked using a motion capture system and reflective markers placed on our research participants (left panel; circles represent individual markers, squares represent groups of 3-4 markers). The motion capture cameras emit infrared light, which reflects off the markers and back to the cameras (middle panel). We use this data to construct a model (right panel) to analyze motion. -
