In a season that, despite some bumps, will help in the long run, two Nipissing Lakers men’s basketball team members were recognized for being key contributors to their team. Both Marcus Lewis and Marcos Clennon were named to the OUA All-Rookie team last week thanks to being two impact players for the Lakers this season and sitting one and two in team scoring.

Nipissing University celebrated the achievements of faculty beyond the classroom with A Celebration of Scholarship, held March 10, in the main foyer. Organized this year as part of Research Week, some 50 people attended the event, the second annual Celebration of Scholarship.

The Nipissing University Ringette Club played their final event of the season at a tournament in Niagara Falls, where they met teams from four other schools from across Ontario and proved that they can compete with the best teams in the province.
