Nipissing Education students Julie and Andrea Kocsis are out to change the world, and are already making a big difference in the lives of Kenyan girls by helping them achieve an education.

Tom Hedican, the man behind the highly successful Coach4Food program and a professional goaltending consultant, spoke to students at Nipissing University last week about his coaching expertise, his inspiration for Coach4Food and importance of helping those in need.

Nipissing University celebrated its 20th anniversary yesterday in style, with special guests, champagne, live music and a dance performance. The university received its charter as an independent degree granting university in 1992.
